About the role

Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles at Target involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual‑merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery, while Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. These positions offer knowledge of guest‑service fundamentals, experience with retail business fundamentals (sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and the chance to execute daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored product suggestions and solutions to guests.
• Execute compelling visual‑merchandising presentations.
• Welcome guests, thank them, and exceed service expectations.
• Maintain product sets, ensure items are in‑stock, accurately priced, and properly signed.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Climb ladders, scan merchandise, and move items safely, including lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
• Support guest recovery and resolve questions quickly on the spot.
