About the role
Working at Target means helping families discover the joy of everyday life. Seasonal positions are focused on delivering tailored suggestions, active selling, and compelling visual merchandising to inspire guests and build the basket. Roles include Seasonal Specialty Sales, Seasonal Service & Engagement, and Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales.
These positions provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience with retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency, and the opportunity to execute daily/weekly workloads that support business priorities and sales goals.

Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations
- Climb up and down ladders safely
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds
- Maintain a flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays) with regular attendance
Skills
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Quickly resolve guest questions on the spot
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes
Pay
Starting hourly rate: $17.25 USD per hour.
Schedule
Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with an expectation of regular attendance.
