About the role

Target’s seasonal specialty sales roles are focused on delivering tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual‑merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts ensure a consistent guest experience by keeping product set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored product suggestions and solutions through active selling.
• Execute compelling visual‑merchandising presentations.
• Welcome guests, thank them, and exceed service expectations.
• Handle guest recovery situations promptly.
• Maintain product availability, accurate pricing, and proper signage on the sales floor.
• Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
• Perform cash register operations accurately.
• Climb ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 lb.
