Target’s seasonal positions help families discover the joy of everyday life through specialized sales, guest service, and merchandise operations. Roles include Seasonal Guest Advocate, Seasonal General Merchandise Expert, Seasonal Fulfillment Expert, Seasonal Style Consultant, Seasonal Inbound Expert, Seasonal Food & Beverage Expert, and Seasonal Tech Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored product suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure products are properly set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Stock, set, and sell Target merchandise.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders to access merchandise.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds.
Skills
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates.
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Quickly resolve guest questions on the spot.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest‑first culture.
- Experience in retail business fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement.
- Ability to execute daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and meet sales goals.
