About the role
Target seasonal specialty sales roles involve providing tailored suggestions, active selling, and visual merchandising to inspire guests and increase basket size. Seasonal service & engagement advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal general merchandise & food sales experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The positions offer experience in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, inventory management, and process efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests, delivering service that encourages them to say “I LOVE TARGET!”
- Stock, set, and sell Target products, including handling merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Operate cash registers accurately.
- Climb ladders and move merchandise safely.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals.
- Provide guest recovery and resolve questions on the spot.
- Adapt to current technology needs.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
