About the role

Target is seeking seasonal team members to help families discover the joy of everyday life. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement Advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery, while Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales Experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored product suggestions and solutions to guests.
  • Execute visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding expectations.
  • Maintain product availability, accurate pricing, and proper signage on the sales floor.
  • Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations.
  • Climb ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Requirements & Skills

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Quickly resolve guest questions on the spot.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
  • Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with regular attendance.
