Seasonal Grain Plant Operator

About the role

The Grain Plant Operator supports seasonal grain handling operations by performing loading, unloading, storing, and moving bulk commodities in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating equipment for loading/unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and railcars
• Conducting inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency
• Managing grain ground piles and handling various grain tasks
• Providing excellent customer service and collaborating with team members
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, and bending
• Working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions, including at heights
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• At least 18 years old
• Good communication skills in English
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks
• Preferred: Prior production work experience
