Seasonal Grain Operations

About the role

This position will assist the location with general lot duties and will be expected to follow safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations of the scale
• Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility
• Ensure safety compliance
• Assist in equipment maintenance
• Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments with management

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience
• Prior agricultural experience a plus
• Required overtime as the season demands
• Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment preferred

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift more than 50 pounds
• Climb ladders
• Perform preventive maintenance activities
• Perform other physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location
• Regularly walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel, and grasp
