Seasonal Gifting Associate

About the Role

We're looking for a Seasonal Gifting Associate to join our team and help develop Business-to-Business sales of HoneyBaked Ham products during the holiday season. This is a long-term seasonal role supporting our company stores in the area, with a fun and casual work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and sell HBH products and gift certificates to corporate customers to support holiday sales goals.
• Articulate the Gifting Value Proposition and benefits of HBH products, providing potential gifting solutions.
• Perform administrative and recordkeeping duties, including accepting and preparing orders, entering orders into the HBH POS system, submitting orders for fulfillment, and providing customer service assistance to corporate clients.
• Generate and submit telemarketing activity reports on a regular basis.
• Drive fundraising activities and sales in the local community.
• Handle catering activities such as Black Friday, holiday catering, lunch and learns, etc.
• Place follow-up calls to customers before and after order receipt to ensure satisfaction.
• Report customer issues and major changes to the General Manager for resolution.
• Send thank-you cards to customers after the holiday.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• Great organizational and planning skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Some direct selling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Outlook.
• Customer service experience a plus (e.g., catering, hotel, retail, or gig economy).

Physical Demands

• Physical dexterity and mobility to perform job demands, including working with a hot torch or slicing machines.
• Requires bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies.
• Back-of-house positions may require lifting up to 65 pounds.

Schedule

Open 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays.
