Seasonal Events Associate
for section headings: e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We should map content to these headings appropriately. The instruction: "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It suggests we can use those headings if they match content. We should not repeat job title as heading. We should not include Job ID etc. We need to include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. So we need to decide which sections have content.
We have:
- About the role: could map to POSITION SUMMARY.
- Responsibilities: could map to ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.
- Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: could map to EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS (includes experience, knowledge, skills, ability). Might split into Requirements and Skills? But we can combine.
- Benefits: Part Time Benefits Summary.
- Pay: Not mentioned. So we should NOT include Pay section.
- Schedule: Not mentioned (though event dates/times given but that's hiring event, not job schedule). So no Schedule.
- Travel Requirements: there is TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A. That's placeholder "N/A". According to rule: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD"). So we should not include Travel Requirements section because it's N/A.
- Physical Requirements: there is PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS with details. Should we include a section? The allowed headings list does not include Physical Requirements, but we could still use a heading? The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those are typical. However we should probably stick to those headings. Physical Requirements may not fit; but we could include under Requirements or maybe as part of Responsibilities? Better to include as a separate section? The instruction: "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't say we cannot use other headings, but it's implied to use those. However we need to preserve all substantive information. Physical Requirements is substantive. We could include it under a heading like "Requirements" or maybe "Physical Requirements" as a heading, but that deviates from the suggested list. The instruction says "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." The "e.g." indicates examples, not exclusive list. So we can use other headings if needed, but better to stick to those. However Physical Requirements is not covered by those examples. Could we incorporate into Requirements? Possibly as a bullet under Requirements. But the requirement list already includes experience/qualifications; physical requirements could be considered a requirement. So we could add a bullet under Requirements: "Physical requirements: constantly stand/walk, etc." That would preserve info.
Similarly, Independent Judgement could be part of Requirements or Responsibilities.
Thus we can create sections: About the role (POSITION SUMMARY), Responsibilities (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS), Requirements (EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS + PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT), Benefits (Part Time Benefits Summary). No Pay, Schedule.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose.
We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the details exactly as given, but we can format as lists.
We must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions. So we need to strip the EEO statement, reasonable accommodations, etc. Also remove the hiring event details? The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." The hiring event details (National Hiring Event: date, location, apply prior to arrival) might be considered application instructions? It says "Apply prior to arrival to expedite the process at careers.basspro.com". That's application instruction. Also the event details might be considered navigation? Probably we should remove that as well because it's not part of job description. The instruction says to remove application instructions. So we should drop the hiring event lines.
Also remove "‘Tis the Season for Hiring! Are you looking for a fun seasonal position with the opportunity to earn extra money for the holidays AND enjoy our Outfitter Discount?" That's promotional but maybe part of About the role? It's not boilerplate; it's marketing. Could be considered part of About the role? Might keep as prose? But it's not part of the position summary. It's more like a tagline. Could be considered part of About the role? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. That tagline is substantive? It's about the job being seasonal, extra money, discount. Might be considered part of About the role. But we already have POSITION SUMMARY. The tagline could be considered part of About the role as well. However we might keep it as a paragraph before the POSITION SUMMARY? But we need to avoid duplication. The POSITION SUMMARY already describes the role. The tagline is extra marketing fluff. Might be considered boilerplate? Not exactly. But to be safe, we could include it as part of About the role section as prose.
But we need to decide: The instruction says "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." It does not say to remove marketing tagline. So we keep it.
Thus About the role section will contain the tagline plus POSITION SUMMARY.
Now we need to format.
We'll produce:
