Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing laboratory experiments, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and common laboratory spaces.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments under supervision.
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing supplies and chemical reagents safely.
- Support faculty and students during experiments by providing materials and technical assistance.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with departmental and institutional health and safety guidelines.
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste properly, following appropriate environmental and safety procedures.
- Record and report data or equipment malfunctions to the supervising instructor or laboratory manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
