Seasonal Driver’s Helper - Collegedale TN

Job Summary

Mckee Foods is seeking a Seasonal Driver’s Helper to join our Transportation team. This temporary position supports our drivers during our peak Christmas season. The assignment begins September 28, 2026, and ends January 1, 2027.

This is an excellent foot in the door at McKee Foods—seasonal hires will become eligible to apply for internal, long-term positions starting November 23, 2026.

Required Qualifications

• A valid driver's license
• Ability to read, write, work with numbers, and effectively communicate job information to accomplish tasks
• Willingness to travel in the truck and maintain a highly flexible schedule
• Ability to frequently and repetitively lift and/or move up to 25–35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a Post-Offer Employment Test (POET) to ensure the safe execution of heavy physical demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manual labor, warehouse support, freight handling, or loading/unloading roles
• Experience or willingness to learn how to operate on-board computer systems
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and a strong attendance record

Pay

$21.87 / hour

Tiered Completion Bonus

Earn an extra lump-sum bonus for completing the full assignment through January 1, 2027. Bonus amounts are based on your start date:

• Started in September: $1,000
• Started in October: $750
• Started in November: $500

Schedule

Shift/Hours: 10-14 hour days, must be flexible with workdays and dispatch/start times
