Seasonal Distribution Center Associate (Internet Fulfillment)

About the role

As a Seasonal Distribution Center Associate for the Internet Fulfillment Department, you’ll ensure the efficient and accurate fulfillment of Ecommerce orders as they are placed, creating the magic that gets our product into the hands of our customers. This is a temporary role lasting approximately 3 months, with the potential opportunity to transition into a permanent associate position with Hot Topic.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
• Keep up with the fast pace while using appropriate supplies and packing materials.
• Ensure all orders are accurate and inducted in a timely manner.
• Handle shipments efficiently to ensure smooth workflow from one work station to the next.
• Stock new merchandise as received.
• Communicate with management on any production issues that arise.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety, cleanliness and code of ethics.
• Monitor production supplies and partner with Supervisor or Team Lead to order additional supplies as needed.
• Follow all written departmental procedures and identify any changes that may be necessary, reporting these findings to your supervisor.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Previous DC and/or Internet Fulfillment experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Pay range: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour. The starting pay is as listed; final salary may vary based on education, location, meeting minimum job requirements, training, and experience.

Schedule

Available shifts:

• 1st Shift, Sunday‑Thursday, 4 am‑12:30 pm
• 1st Shift, Tuesday‑Saturday, 4 am‑12:30 pm
• 2nd Shift, Sunday‑Thursday, 1 pm‑9:30 pm
• 2nd Shift, Tuesday‑Saturday, 1 pm‑9:30 pm

During non‑peak periods, working days are Monday‑Friday for all shifts. During peak season, schedules may be adjusted and overtime could be required; specifics will be clarified if invited to interview.
