Seasonal Desk Clerk - Robbers Cave State Park Lodge

About the role

Desk Clerks for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) are the public-facing customer service representatives in the park’s front office, lodge, or golf pro shop. They provide customers with requested information or assistance concerning services or direct requests to those who can provide the service.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones, take messages, and provide information about location facilities.
• Receive walk-in and phone-in reservation requests.
• Check guests into reservations and validate parking.
• Post charges to guest accounts, including necessary corrections and transfers.
• Collect charges, process credit card vouchers, and close guest accounts.
• Check in/out recreation equipment, golf carts, etc. to guests.
• Assist with gift shop sales and restocking merchandise.
• Prepare various reports under general direction.
• Prepare correspondence, monthly reports, and other documents using office equipment and software programs.
• Perform general housekeeping in public areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations and agency needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Scheduled hours will require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events, based on the needs of the agency.

Pay

$12.00 per hour
