Seasonal Delivery Driver

About the role

Seasonal Delivery Driver positions deliver HoneyBaked products from our hub store to Pop-Up Retail locations in grocery stores and/or malls in the local area. These roles offer flexible scheduling to work around school, family, or other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the hub store to pick up product for Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Complete the Truck Assessment checklist at the beginning of each delivery day prior to leaving the hub store.
• Ensure products are secured in the truck using straps or loading bars.
• Safely transport products to Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Place product on the reassembled flatbed cart to be taken into the location.
• Take expired product and place it in empty boxes to return to the home store.
• Complete the delivery manifest checklist, ensuring all product is accounted for and delivered accurately, as well as returned to the store when needed.
• Complete temperature logs to ensure product food safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a 14 ft. to 26 ft. refrigerated truck for local deliveries.
• Valid driver’s license and current DOT medical card.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, MVR check, and DOT background check.
• Knowledge of current DOT requirements.
• At least 21 years of age (CDL not required).
• Requires bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies of up to 65 pounds on a constant basis.
• Long hours during the holiday season.
