Seasonal Delivery Assistant

Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediate full-time, seasonal Delivery Assistants in the Cincinnati / West Chester area!

Responsibilities

• Inspect furniture to ensure acceptable condition for delivery prior to loading truck.
• Manually load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and docks.
• Ensure the truck is loaded safely to protect products from damage during transport.
• Auxiliary tasks related to deliveries and pickups, including cleaning and assembling furniture, serving as a trained spotter for truck backing, and assisting with navigation and customer interactions.
• Help maintain the truck, ensure all necessary items are on board, and handle any ancillary tasks related to deliveries and pickups.
• Support efficient and safe delivery operations, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• General labor experience; furniture or delivery experience preferred.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) and MVR checks as a condition of employment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $18 - 18.50 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Standard is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm; some flexibility or overtime may be required.
