Seasonal Customer Service & Sales Floor Support - Boulevard Consumer Square Rack

About the role

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. You’ll make the customer experience quick, easy and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they're looking for. Multiple roles are available in Sales, Cashier, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

Responsibilities

Sales and Cashier

• Create a smooth fitting‑room experience by greeting customers, escorting them to fitting rooms, and sorting/returning clothing to the floor.
• Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• Keep stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Work with the team to keep the sales floor “runway ready” through re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers with a variety of transactions, providing a seamless and friendly experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner.

Stock Support and Fulfillment

• Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customers’ orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, such as setting up special events, organizing backrooms, handling markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.

Requirements

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (required for Stock Support or Fulfillment roles).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Pay

$16.75 – $17.45 hourly (pay ranges may vary by location and are dependent on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience).
