Seasonal Courier / Non-DOT-7

About the role

Seasonal Courier position with up to 12‑week commitment, driving/operating company vehicles to provide delivery and pick‑up of packages at customer locations. Upon assignment completion, the employee may be offered a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
• Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum Experience: None.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age, have held a driver’s license for three years with no gaps or suspensions.

Pay

$24.21‑$35.25 per hour (estimated starting salary range).

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
