Seasonal Concession Worker

About the role

Join our team as a seasonal Concession Worker in a fast-paced and fun atmosphere. You’ll assist in managing concession operations, including sales, inventory, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Sales of product to patrons, including collection of payment via a cash management system
• Inventory management: stocking, product organization, and monitoring supply levels
• Pool Concession Stand duties: collect and record pool admission fees, assist with daily/weekly attendance records
• Daily balancing of cash drawer and reconciliation in accordance with policy procedures
• Daily cleaning of concession area, including equipment, trash disposal, and other cleaning tasks
• Assist in providing direction to patrons during emergencies
• Perform other comparable duties as required

Requirements

• Age 16 or older
• Ability to work with numbers
• Previous experience in concession operations or customer service desired
• Knowledge of cash register and money handling, including basic arithmetic
• Ability to maintain accurate recordkeeping
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patrons and co-workers
• Flexibility with work hours, ability to work independently, and complete tasks as assigned
• Clear and concise communication skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Frequent talking, hearing, standing, walking, and use of hands/fingers dexterously
• Intermittent sitting, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to inside environmental conditions (e.g., wet floors), outdoor weather conditions, noise, and equipment operations (including heat elements)

Schedule

Seasonal position with variable hours. Evening and weekend work is expected.
