About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a seasonal driver to join our team. This role involves driving company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer orders, picking up and delivering products, loading and unloading trailers, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer orders, safely and accurately
  • Complete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulations
  • Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed
  • Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
  • Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer at the facility, safely and efficiently by using forklift or hand truck
  • Able to perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently
  • Clean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Driving experience preferred
  • Must have a driving record that meets company standards
  • Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
  • CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred

Qualifications

  • Able to lift/carry up to 50lbs

Pay

The salary range for this role, in Douglas, IL location, is between $15.00 - $28.00. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs.

Schedule

Full-time hours throughout the season (40+ hours per week), with busier days during peak season that allows for overtime pay
