Seasonal CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is hiring for a seasonal role that typically lasts from March – July, with adjustments based on business needs. This role offers a great opportunity to showcase skills and potentially transition to a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes while collaborating with site teams for safe, accurate daily operations
• Load or assist in loading trailers with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailers using forklifts or hand trucks
• Operate semi-trucks with one or two trailers, adhering to state laws
• Transport loads along designated routes, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct DOT truck inspections
• Complete required paperwork, including shipping bills of lading and receiving necessary signatures
• Maintain relevant records and perform miscellaneous service duties, such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and tire pressure
• Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• GED, high school diploma, or equivalent
• CDL license required; hazmat endorsement preferred
• Driving experience preferred
• Driving record meeting company standards
• Physical and medical requirements met and passing substance abuse screening
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role in Sauk Centre, MN is between $16.50 to $25.50 per hour. Nutrien evaluates candidates based on various factors including experience, skills, education, and location.
