Seasonal CDL Class B Delivery Driver / Service Technician
About the role
Beaudry Oil & Propane is looking for a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class B Delivery Driver / Service Technician to join our Propane Division. In this role, you’ll safely and efficiently deliver propane and fuel to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers throughout our service area. You’ll operate company delivery vehicles, provide excellent customer service, and assist with service-related tasks as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and being part of a local, team-oriented company.
Schedule
Full Time: Monday - Friday, Dayshift (October - April). Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a delivery truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)
- Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane/fuel from specified destinations
- Inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in a safe manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on the delivery truck
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B driver's license with Hazmat and tank endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate a delivery truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds GVW
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (consistently 40–60 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds)
