Seasonal - Cashiers/Sales Associates/Greenhouse Associates

Fads & Frames in Alexandria is hiring for Cashiers, Sales Associates, and Greenhouse Associates to help operate our family-owned, family-oriented store.

Responsibilities

• Cashiers: Greet customers, process transactions accurately, answer phone calls, and perform other assigned duties.
• Sales Associates: Assist customers on the sales floor, stock and price merchandise, and perform other assigned duties.
• Greenhouse Associates: Tend to plants and flowers in the greenhouse, unload delivery trucks, assist customers with purchases, clean, stock, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be available nights and weekends
• Computer proficiency required
• Retail point of sale experience preferred (Cashier position)
• Cash handling experience (Cashier position)
• Plant knowledge preferred but not required (Greenhouse position)
• Ability to lift 50+/- pounds repeatedly (Greenhouse positions)
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
