Seasonal Campus Security Officer - Thornwood, NY -$19.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols throughout the campus
• Monitor campus buildings, grounds, and common areas
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors
• Aid with access control and visitor management procedures
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site protocols
• Complete accurate and detailed incident and activity reports

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during patrols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Must have reliable personal transportation and access to a vehicle

Potential Schedules May Include
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
