About the Role

The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) drives revenue and provides guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store environment. This role consistently achieves individual sales goals to support overall store performance.

Responsibilities

• People:
  • Provides excellent guest service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to Altar’d State service standards.
  • Acknowledges, interacts with, and builds relationships with guests to create loyalty.
  • Consistently receives positive, unsolicited guest feedback.
  • Communicates effectively with store management and guests.
  • Treats others fairly, with respect, and values differences; avoids judgment of potential guests.
  • Supports a learning and trusting environment by acting as a positive role model for fellow associates.
• Process:
  • Completes opening/closing procedures and sales tasks as directed by management with a guest-focused approach.
  • Locates merchandise efficiently and maintains store organization.
  • Performs register transactions quickly and accurately, including handling cash and providing correct change.
  • Adheres to loss prevention practices, reports potential incidents, and ensures shortage control to protect company assets.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and reports hazards to leadership.
  • Participates in and assists with store inventory preparation.
  • Reports to work as scheduled, records time accurately, and remains flexible to business needs.
• Presentation:
  • Assists in constructing merchandising and window displays.
  • Maintains a clean and presentable store environment.
  • Represents the brand by adhering to appropriate dress and grooming standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting.
• May occasionally climb ladders or stairs depending on location.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
