About the role

The BOSS (Buy Online Ship from Store) Fulfillment Outfitter supports the process that improves the overall shopping experience by accessing inventory across retail locations to quickly find the right product for customers. The role involves filling BOSS orders, sorting, picking, packing, and loading merchandise for shipment to direct customers and retail stores, ensuring merchandise is handled to maintain quality and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect merchandise.
• Fill BOSS orders by inspecting merchandise and matching to order.
• Pull merchandise from designated stock locations and place in proper containers.
• Sort merchandise into order groupings and pack using appropriate containers, cartons, or packaging.
• Apply designated labels and visually inspect product for quality and presentation.
• Move merchandise among warehouse locations using authorized material handling equipment (stock pickers, lift trucks, etc.) or manually load/unload trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and follow safety procedures.
• Attend mandatory training (new employee orientation, safety, job skills).
• Assist customers on the sales floor in finding merchandise and making buying decisions during store open hours.
• Communicate issues affecting job function such as short picks, out‑of‑stocks, on‑hand counts, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of experience.
• Physical requirements: able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, operate receiving equipment, constantly stand/walk, repeat motions (wrists, hands, fingers), occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, ramps, occasionally work in tight/confined spaces, low/high temperatures, outdoor elements, noisy environments; light work includes constantly moving/lifting up to 20 pounds, occasionally moving/lifting 100+ pounds with team lift as needed.
• Independent judgment: performs tasks under general supervision using established procedures, chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems, occasional independent judgment required, often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow through on order processing up to and including properly closing orders in the BOSS system.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co‑workers, and customers.
