Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Prince Frederick

We offer extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and other transportation services to make travel easier and more convenient for customers.

About the role

We are seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team as Seasonal Full-Time Automotive Detailers. This position is located at 520 Solomons Island Road N, Prince Frederick, MD 20678. The seasonal window ends on or before October 31, 2026, and cannot exceed 180 days.

Pay

$18 per hour based on a 40-hour work week.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Wednesday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle; inspect for any safety concerns and report warning lights or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a satisfactory background check, including driving record (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI in the last 3 years), employment reference, education, and social security verification.
• Must live within a 25-minute commute (in rush-hour traffic) from the location posted (preferred).
• Must be available for seasonal work lasting up to 180 days.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
