Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Auburn

Enterprise Mobility is seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team as Seasonal Automotive Detailers in the Auburn area. This is a seasonal position with immediate openings, available in both part-time and full-time capacities.

About the role

As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone. You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Pay

$15 / hour

Schedule

• Seasonal position: July 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026 (cannot exceed 180 days of service)
• Full-time: minimum 5 days/week (40 hours), including weekends
• Part-time: minimum 3 days/week (25 hours), including weekends

Available schedules will be discussed with the recruiter upon application.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights, vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of branch interiors and exteriors
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to daily cleanliness of the branch location (e.g., desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot)
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years
• Candidates with more than one excessive speeding violation (26+ mph over the posted speed limit) in the past three years will be disqualified
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• Must live within a reasonable commute (no more than 30 minutes) from 806 Opelika Road, Auburn, AL 36830
• Seasonal employees may work up to 180 days during a defined season and must experience a 3-month break in service before working again as a seasonal or regular employee
