Responsibilities

• Utilize industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs
• Champion the Safelite Spirit with a can-do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset
• Complete jobs with the highest quality standard
• Learn to repair vehicle glass in the classroom and hands-on settings
• Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass-related issues on customer vehicles
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using Safelite MRM technology
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company-issued tools, and chemicals
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any other required licenses
• Completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Skills and Abilities

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods
• Standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending, and twisting
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Operating a motor vehicle in accordance with all laws
• Maintaining professionalism and passion for customer service
• Working with chemicals as required
• Working scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times
• Communicating orally and written
• Maintaining a professional appearance
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues
• Reading, writing, and interpreting the English language
• Working with cameras, GPS, and other tracking technologies

Benefits

Competitive weekly base pay starting at $16.75/hour. Schedule: Monday-Saturday, with Sundays off and one additional day off during the week.
