Seasonal Associate, Tower 2nd

About the role

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (e.g., on inventory levels or delivery schedules).
• Perform other routine clerical activities such as answering telephones, updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
• Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, including receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education; Associate’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Basic level of education including reading, writing, and basic numeracy.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• No formal occupational training required.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Skills

• Operate simple equipment under guidance and instruction (non-office based roles).
• Problem-solving for defined, repetitive, and routine problems with readily available solutions.
• Interaction primarily limited to own team with basic verbal skills and common courtesy.

Pay

$17.49 USD - $21.87 USD per hour
