Seasonal Associate I - Seed Packing Operations - Evening Shift

Position Summary

Johnny's is currently hiring a Seasonal Associate I - Operations for the Evening Shift. This role involves work in the Seed Packing department and may require cross-training in the Shipping and Warehouse departments. Ideal candidates are motivated and possess excellent organizational skills. Hours vary during peak times, usually Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Pack seed into both commercial and consumer sizes using various tools.
• Assemble kits and products, process bulk seed orders, weigh between 50 and 70 pounds.
• Perform tasks in the Shipping and Warehouse departments such as locating materials, reorganizing, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and assisting with receiving and cycle counting.
• Use handheld devices for accurate inventory picking and tracking, prepare inventory for shipping, and perform other duties as needed.
• Maintain a balanced work environment by working efficiently and accurately while keeping the workspace clean and safe.
