Seasonal Associate - California Stores

About the Role

HoneyBaked is hiring seasonal associates for the Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays. These positions are ideal for students, teachers, retirees, or anyone seeking flexible, short-term work to earn extra income. Schedules are designed to accommodate other commitments like family or school.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with excellent, friendly service and respond positively to requests or comments.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and articulate features and benefits to drive add-on sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Take initiative, remain productive throughout shifts, and adhere to all processes and procedures.
• Comply with safety, security, and respectful workplace policies.
• Follow food preparation and control standards.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred (e.g., cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate).
• Physical dexterity and mobility to perform job demands, including bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products/supplies (up to 65 pounds for ham production associates).
• Ability to work with a hot torch (if applicable).

Pay

Starting pay ranges from the state minimum wage up to $17 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
