Seasonal Associate

About the role

HoneyBaked is hiring seasonal associates to join the team for the Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays every year. Schedules are perfect for students, teachers, retirees — anyone who wants to earn extra income without a long‑term commitment. The company offers truly flexible scheduling so you can work around family, school, or other commitments. Seasonal positions can be a great side gig for picking up extra shifts, and you’ll find a great culture built on the core values “Serve Others” and “Do The Right Thing.” Some associates work at regular HoneyBaked store locations, while others work at express store locations that are open only during the holiday season.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, providing excellent service in a friendly and polite manner.
• Respond positively to customer requests or comments.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge and effectively articulate product features and benefits.
• Drive add‑on sales through suggestion selling.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Take initiative and remain productive throughout the entire shift, taking responsibility for activities within your control.
• Consistently follow all processes and procedures and comply with company standards in all areas, from service to food preparation and control.
• Adhere to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies and procedures.

Requirements

Prior customer service or food preparation experience is preferred; experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate or store associate is a big plus. The role requires physical dexterity and mobility, including bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, lifting products and supplies, and possibly working with a hot torch. Ham production associates may need to lift up to 65 pounds.
