Seasonal Associate 1 Operations - Evening Shift

Position Summary

Johnny's is currently hiring a Seasonal Associate I - Operations for the Evening Shift. This role will work in all Operational Departments and will require cross-training in the Seed Packing, Shipping and Warehouse departments as needed to support business operations. The ideal candidate will be motivated and possess excellent organizational skills. This is a seasonal business, so hours may change during peak times. The usual hours for the Evening Shift are Monday through Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. During the busiest period, overtime will be required. Starting pay for the Evening Shift is $19.51 per hour ($17.51/hr base rate plus $2.00/hr differential pay for working evening hours). Seasonal Employee Benefits include an "End of Season Bonus" of up to $750.00!

Position Responsibilities

• Pack seed into both commercial and consumer sizes using various hand or mechanical tools available.
• Assemble kits and products, process bulk seed orders for commercial purposes, weigh between 50 and 70 pounds, and use basic computer skills including familiarity with converting ounces/pounds to grams.
• Perform tasks in the Shipping and Warehouse departments such as locating incoming materials, finding items using inventory systems, reorganizing materials, shrink-wrapping, labeling, assisting the receiver with sampling, labeling, or receiving, supporting cycle counters with locating and weighing, reporting any issues or shortages to supervisors, preparing inventory for the shipping department, and using handheld devices for accurate inventory picking and tracking.
• Maintain a balanced work environment by working efficiently and accurately while keeping the workspace clean and safe.
