About the role

Samaritans Purse is seeking experienced administrative assistants to join our Operation Christmas Child Processing Center Team. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess administrative experience, and have a passion for spreading the gospel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the OCC volunteer database and registration process
  • Perform a wide variety of in-season administrative tasks
  • Answer and direct incoming ministry phone calls
  • Serve as the main point of contact for volunteer inquiries and updates
  • Maintain relationships with ministry partners
  • Order and organize management staff meals

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and high level of organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Volunteer management experience
  • Excellent over-the-phone customer service skills
  • Able to lift and move 25 lbs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Administrative experience
  • Heart to serve in a hands-on ministry

Benefits

This is a full-time (40+ hours per week including some Saturdays) seasonal commitment that runs from September through December.
