About the role

Seasonal specialty sales positions at Target involve providing tailored suggestions, active selling, and compelling visual‑merchandising presentations that inspire guests and increase basket size. The roles support a guest‑first culture and cover a range of functions, including guest advocacy, general merchandise expertise, fulfillment, style consulting, inbound operations, food & beverage service, and technology assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a helpful attitude and assist them throughout their shopping experience.
• Learn and adapt to current technology tools used on the sales floor.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and on the spot.
• Follow multi‑step processes with strong attention to detail.
• Accurately handle cash register operations.
• Climb ladders, scan items, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
• Lift or move merchandise up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Maintain product set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and properly signed on the sales floor.
• Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and meet sales goals.
