About the role

Target seasonal specialty sales roles involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising, delivering guest service, and ensuring product availability, pricing, and presentation. Roles include Seasonal Guest Advocate, Seasonal General Merchandise Expert, Seasonal Fulfillment Expert, Seasonal Style Consultant, Seasonal Inbound Expert, Seasonal Food & Beverage Expert, and Seasonal Tech Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
• Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
• Ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
• Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
• Accurately handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and regular attendance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest‑first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Skills

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $17.75 USD per hour. Pay range: $17.75 – $26.65 USD per hour.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance are necessary.
