About the role

Target’s seasonal positions focus on delivering a welcoming, inspiring shopping experience. Roles include providing tailored product suggestions and visual merchandising, ensuring guest service excellence, and maintaining accurate, well‑stocked merchandise on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
• Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
• Ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
• Accurately handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders to access merchandise.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with regular attendance.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily/weekly workload goals.

Requirements

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
• Capability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

Pay

$16.75 USD per hour

Schedule

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance required.
