About the role

Seasonal roles include Specialty Sales consultants who provide tailored suggestions and visual merchandising, Service & Engagement advocates who focus on guest interaction and recovery, and General Merchandise & Food Sales experts who ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. These positions offer experience in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and executing daily/weekly workloads to support sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Stock, set, and sell Target products.
• Provide welcoming and helpful service to guests and team members.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet guest needs.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Follow multi‑step processes with attention to detail.
• Accurately handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Pay

Starting hourly rate is $16.00 USD per hour. Non‑exempt team members receive an existing $1/hr shift differential for eligible overnight or early morning hours, plus a temporary additional $1/hr (effective 09/20/26 to 01/02/2027) for those same hours, for a total potential increase of $2/hr during shift differential periods. Schedule

Flexible work schedule required (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) with regular attendance expected.
