As a seasonal team member you’ll join one of our specialty sales, service & engagement, or general merchandise & food sales teams. These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience supporting a guest‑first culture, exposure to retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and practice executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket (Seasonal Specialty Sales)
• Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery (Seasonal Service & Engagement)
• Ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor to enable a consistent guest experience (Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales)
• Stock, set, and sell Target products – the core of what we do
• Deliver service that makes guests say “I LOVE TARGET!”
• Work efficiently as a team to support guests, especially during busy weekend periods

Requirements

• Accurately handle cash register operations
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
• Maintain regular attendance with a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays)

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $17.50 USD per hour

Schedule

Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; regular attendance required
