Season Coach

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive, and dedicated Seasonal Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes in our athletic program. The successful candidate will foster skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth while supporting the mission and values of our Catholic school.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and lead effective practices that develop individual and team skills.
• Cook student-athletes during games and competitions.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and good character.
• Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and athletic department staff.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities.
• Ensure compliance with school, league, and diocesan athletic policies and procedures.
• Aid with equipment management and care of athletic facilities.
• Attend coaches' meetings and complete any required trainings or certifications.
• Serve as a positive role model who reflects the mission and values of the school.

Job Requirements

• Previous coaching or playing experience in the applicable sport is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• The ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes of varying skill levels.
• A commitment to promoting good sportsmanship and character development.
• The ability to work collaboratively with coaches, faculty, parents, and school leadership.
• Current CPR, First Aid, Safe Environment, and any required coaching certifications, or the willingness to obtain them before the season begins.
