SEAS Recreation Program Specialist - Summer Volleyball Program

Position

The Town of Barnstable Recreation Division is seeking a Recreation Program Specialist to lead and support participants in our seasonal youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and lead youth in volleyball activities and games
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
• Supervise group activities and maintain a positive and inclusive environment
• Enforce program rules and guidelines as set by the Recreation Division
• Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents/guardians

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coaching or playing volleyball
• Previous experience working with or supervising children
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to engage and motivate young participants in a recreational setting
