SEAS Leisure Program Supervisor

Job Summary

The Leisure Program Supervisors at Barnstable Recreation will play a key role in planning, organizing, coordinating, and administering a 7-week Summer Day program for children aged 5-13. This program will run from June 29 to August 14, 2026, with staff hours scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM. You must attend Parent Orientation on June 13th, 2026 and Staff Orientation from June 20-26th, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be attending College or a College Graduate
• Minimum of 4 years of summer program experience or relevant experience working with children
• First Aid and CPR Certified
• Valid Drivers License

Additional Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of summer program planning and administration
• Demonstrate the ability to develop, coordinate, and direct various activities within the program
• Effective communication skills, the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, and a display of good character, integrity, and adaptability are essential
• Enthusiasm, a sense of humor, patience, and self-control are valued traits for this role

Pay & Schedule

$18.25 hourly, no benefits
