About the role
The Seamstress/Tailor supports the Rental Division by accurately altering customer garments. Daily tasks include hemming and sewing emblems to garments, visually inspecting garments for repairs, and using various sewing machines.
Responsibilities
- Accurately alter customer garments
- Hem and sew emblems to garments
- Visually inspect garments for repairs such as buttons, zippers, or tears
- Use commercial sewing machines, button machine, blind stitch, and heat seal machine
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Meet or exceed standards for quantity and quality of work
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the US
- Aged 18 or older
- Adhere to attendance policy
- Willing to work in close proximity to others for extended periods
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment with time pressures
- Willing to learn to use a computer program for work activities
