Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and engaging with customers over the phone, in person, and through virtual chats, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm and clear communication.
  • Managing customer flow to ensure a seamless and five-star customer experience, using all systems to optimize the shopping journey.
  • Providing exceptional service by addressing customer concerns confidently, escalating issues as necessary, and promoting alteration services.
  • Assisting stylists in closing sales by consulting customers on gown fit and customization, maintaining high standards for all alterations, fittings, and garment care.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized alterations room, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to quality control guidelines.
  • Supporting the store’s achievement of Five-Star Customer Service standards by handling customer service issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by store management to support the overall success of the team.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • One to two years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environments.
  • Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, along with manual dexterity for sewing and fitting garments.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

The starting rate of pay for this role varies based on factors including location, training, and experience, falling within the range of $15-18.75 per hour.

Schedule

This role offers flexible part-time hours, with minimal weekday requirements and the option to join for weekends only.
