Seamstress/Tailor

Responsibilities

• Performing general repair and alteration of costumes
• Operating sewing equipment, including serger, industrial machines, and other tools to assist in maintaining costumes
• Aiding in the laundry of costumes
• Constructing special costumes and/or other projects as assigned
• Maintaining the structural integrity and design of licensed characters to preserve their appearance
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and team members

Qualifications

• Has a general knowledge of clothing construction, alterations, and repair
• Previous theatrical costume experience is helpful
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Self-motivated to work independently without direct supervision
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, mornings, nights, and holidays
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are helpful for fulfilling errands and supply orders
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Pay

The pay range for this role is between $15-$17 per hour.

Schedule

This is a part-time role averaging 29 hours per week or less.
