Responsibilities

• Welcoming and engaging with customers over the phone, in person, and through virtual chats, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm and clear communication.
• Managing customer flow to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience, adhering to service standards and meeting all operational checklists.
• Providing expert advice and solutions to help customers find the perfect dress for their event, promoting all alteration services and personalization options.
• Assisting stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers on gown fit and customization, and maintaining high standards for all alterations, fittings, and garment care.
• Ensuring all alterations, fittings, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning are done to company standards, and responding promptly to customer inquiries.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and managing inventory to support a flawless shopping experience.
• Supporting the cash wrap process and resolving customer service issues in compliance with company guidelines.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environments.
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, and lifting.

• Technical expertise in alterations and fitting.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with POS systems.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this role varies based on factors including the position offered, location, training, and experience. The base pay range is $17-21 per hour, which may not be applicable to other locations.

Schedule

Part-time schedule is available, with minimal weekday hours required (join for weekends only).
