Seamstress – Stitching Room

Key Responsibilities Carry out sewing, stitching, and repairs within the Stitching Room, ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards.Operate industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect textile materials to identify defects, damage, or areas requiring repair.Ensure all sewing and repair work meets company quality standards and customer requirements.Manage daily workloads effectively to meet production targets and operational deadlines.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the Stitching Room.Follow all company procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality guidelines.Identify and report any quality issues, equipment faults, or operational concerns to the relevant supervisor.Work closely with colleagues and the production team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.Demonstrate flexibility and support the team in meeting daily production requirements. Candidate Requirements – Essential Previous experience as a seamstress or sewing machinist.Experience operating industrial sewing machines and carrying out textile repairs and finishing.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.Ability to work independently, use own initiative, and prioritise tasks effectively.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to follow instructions, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.Reliability, punctuality, and a good attendance record.A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills. Candidate Requirements – Desirable Experience working in a laundry, textile, manufacturing, or production environment.Familiarity with quality control procedures and production targets. Why Join Us?
