SEAFOOD/CLERK

About the role

Prepare and display Seafood items for sale in an efficient, sanitary and artistic manner and in accordance with company standards and policies. Perform customer service functions and follow all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and associates with effective written and oral communication
• Read and understand shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins
• Multi-task, set priorities, present information professionally and work collaboratively within the organization
• Work independently and complete tasks efficiently
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods in accordance with company standards, recipes, and policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers
• Monitor product quality and ensure it is always fresh and safe
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable

• Ability to maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise
• Ability to wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in accordance with company and Health Department policies and procedures
• Ability to maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws

Qualifications
