About the role

The Quality Systems and Compliance (QS&C) Lead for Southeast Depots will oversee the development and maintenance of an integrated Quality Management System across the Military Sustainment Network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an integrated Quality Management System across the Military Sustainment Network.
  • Create and maintain network level documents.
  • Plan and execute audits across the network.
  • Support the activation of new sites by developing applicable procedures, audit capabilities, and certification.
  • Work with discipline teams to develop and implement quality metrics and training initiatives.
  • Implement and improve existing management review, CAB, and other core quality reviews.
  • Operate a tiered Sustainment Operations audit program to track network performance, compliance, Government Property, EH&S, etc.
  • Track and ensure effective implementation of associated non-compliances.
  • Coordinate with other key process improvement teams to integrate procedures.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering experience in Aviation, Space or Defense or other regulated industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to lead/coach teams through use of RCCA and other Process Improvement tools.
  • Experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities/metrics.
  • Candidates having a “favorable” result from a Tier 3 (T3) investigation prior to employment or obtain a “favorable” result from a T3 investigation after hiring.
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate.
  • Prior Quality Systems and Lead Auditor experience preferred.
  • Previous experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities/metrics.
  • Previous experience in the knowledge and use of CORE Principles.
  • Six Sigma or advanced Lean Certifications.

Pay

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Schedule

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
